When I retired from teaching after 29 years, it made perfect sense for me to become a travel advisor. As a teacher, I planned school excursions and European Spring Break trips for my students. Over the years, I have accompanied hundreds of students and adults on European trips. I spent most of my life in Texas, but now live in Norwich in upstate New York. However, I previously studied, lived, and worked in Europe, so I know it well. I specialize in planning trips for empty-nesters with disposable income, retired couples with time on their hands, luxury cruise clients who are particularly interested in river cruises, and LGBTQ couples and groups.

I believe travel is a learning experience like no other. As a former educator, I have the tools and expertise to research new locations, hotels, and excursions. I also love to read, learn and speak in foreign languages, and explore random subjects, and I especially love to pass along that knowledge. Once, I created a unique itinerary for a group of high school theater teachers to explore the origins of theater. The tour incorporated visits to ancient Greek theater sites, workshops, and a meeting with the Greek Theater Association in Athens. It is this kind of creativity that sets me apart from other travel planners.

My planning process includes "touch bases" and pre-departure meetings to review travel documents, printed itineraries, and schedules. I try to fully prepare clients for their travel, and everyone I work with receives personalized, Five-Star treatment. I also have a network of agents to call upon for support if there is a problem.
