With a professional background in customer service, I understand that clients want a variety of "custom-tailored" vacations. I try to create unique itineraries and travel packages that appeal to clients' individual interests. My dad was a United Airlines employee for 40 years, and I have spent my life traveling. I love to share my knowledge of different destinations. Italy, Ireland, France, Spain, Northern Europe, and Switzerland have been my most recent favorites to visit and to plan!

I call on my personal experiences to help plan distinctive experiences for my clients. I also follow through with hands-on assistance, if necessary, to solve any problems. Recently, I was alerted that my clients' scheduled flight had been cancelled. I called them immediately and was able to find a better non-stop flight for them the next morning. With my help, they were able to find comfortable overnight accommodations, compliments of the airline.

I love working with multi-generational families, but I serve many types of clients, including couples and honeymooners, independent adventurers, luxury travelers and cruisers.

One of my favorite assignments was for a three-generation family of seven traveling to Europe. The trip evolved to be an 11-night Mediterranean and Greek Island cruise, followed by a 12-night land vacation to Italy, with stops in Rome, Florence, Venice, and Lake Como. It required a lot of planning and coordination, with multiple tours, hotels, trains, transfers, and dinner reservations. I even found them a place to do their laundry in Rome! It was a privilege to work with them to plan this once-in-a-lifetime trip, and they all had a fantastic time. 

I have completed multiple online training courses for certification with Globus, Europe Express, Pleasant Holidays, Windstar, Viking, Avalon, Disney, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Virgin Voyages, Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruise Lines, and Vacation Express. I also have earned destination expert certificates for Hawaii, Italy, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Because I live in Schaumburg, Illinois, I have become adept at scheduling trips that involve multiple airplane flights, and I feel I excel at planning vacations that include multiple destinations. It is sometimes a challenge, but one that I relish to provide my clients with memorable vacations. I listen to my clients to help them plan a trip they have always dreamed of. I look for good value and treat my clients as friends. I truly want them all to make memories that last a lifetime. 

I have gained experience working with families of all ages, and I understand the concerns of different generations. I especially enjoy planning multi-stop European and Hawaiian vacations, because I enjoy that kind of travel so much myself! My expertise can also help guide clients who desire luxury and all-inclusive vacations, cruises, or rental villas in resort locations. 

Because I love what I do, I spend most of my days working on travel plans for others, but in my free time, I enjoy boating, hiking, trying new restaurants, dog parks, and spending time with my family and two young grandchildren.
