I was born in Pennsylvania but was raised in and call Illinois home. 
Growing up I believed the act of travel was only to visit relatives during school breaks.  In middle school, I realized that travel was something you also did for fun and for the experience of experiencing new places.  The travel seed was planted in me at that time.  Since that time, I have traveled the world, including trips to Australia, Hawaii, Mexico, Alaska, Greece, Turkey, and the Caribbean.
I have been on several cruises and it is one of my favorite ways to vacation. One of my bucket list musts is to travel to every state and so far I have traveled to 40 states and can’t wait to visit the last 10 (I need to check my list and get those covered)!  Between then and now though she would like to visit France and Wales. 
I shared my love of travel with my children taking them on cruises while very young and sparked their wanderlust for travel as well.
I became a travel advisor because I like to give back to my community through causes and looks forward to blending my love of philanthropic causes with travel through FUNdraising vacation experiences.
