Hi, I'm Christi! I'm new to the travel industry, but not to traveling. I was introduced to it at an early age when my parent's took me on my very first road trip and we ventured down to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to visit my aunt, uncle & cousin's. We went to the beach and also visited Monkey Jungle. I remember it being so much fun! After that, traveling around to different places was mostly with my grandparents who were avid traveller's themselves. They took me on my first airplane ( when you were allowed to go into the cockpit to meet the pilot & earn your "wings"), on an Amtrak train ride, The '82 Worlds Fair & numerous camping trips just to name a few. It was always an adventure!
I've been on a few cruises myself & have been on the beach with my toes in the sand so many times I've lost count. My favorite(s) to date was climbing Dunn's River Falls with my husband & daughter then heading back to the ship via the Cool Runnings Catamaran. There was free rum punch and a fun party vibe while dancing to the reggae & Soca tunes. Having the chance to eat the jerk chicken while in Jamaica was a highlight as well. It was prepared by one of the local restaurants recommended to us & didn't disappoint. Snorkeling in Cozumel with my best friend and daughter was a great experience as well and the local guide we had was very patient while we learned the basic fundamentals of it and mostly trying to get our fins on lol.
Recently, my husband & myself went "spelunking" exploring under ground caves & tunnels and for our anniversary we stayed in a cliff house which was suspended and anchored to the side of a ridge. 175 STEPS up the floating staircase then across the(moving) suspension bridge to get to our stay. They both were AMAZINGLY fun & i got to check them off my to-do bucket list.
After I had children ( now adults with kiddo's of their own) I took them on several vacations in hopes it would instill the love of travel as it did for me & to show them that there's a lot out there to see and explore.
When I'm not working or on vacation, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, going to festivals or farmers mkts, listening to reggae or 80's tunes & playing in my garden.
