In 2008, I embarked on my first cruise, initially feeling a bit nervous about venturing far off shore and into the open ocean. To my surprise, I fell in love with the experience! Cruising proved to be the most worry-free and amazing type of vacation. Be warned – cruising is addictive!

With 25 years in the hospitality industry, including roles at an amusement park and managing restaurants, my career has been all about creating memorable experiences for others. After COVID, I found myself working extensively and had limited time for travel. Yet, every chance I got to escape to a cruise, I found it rejuvenating for my soul and sparked a realization: travel is my true passion.

I thought, how incredible it would be to turn this passion into a career. Residing in the Midwest posed challenges for working directly with a cruise line. That’s when I discovered Dream Vacations.
