I was fortunate to have lived in Central Europe for the bulk of my teenage years, and caught the travel bug early.  By the time I was 18, I had been all across Europe, and to far flung places like Samarkand in Uzbekistan, and Tunisia in North Africa.  Experiences like that are impossible to shake, and I've been an avid traveler ever since.

Throughout my time in the military, and then during a successful career in the software industry, I could never silence the voice in the back of my head telling me I needed to focus my energy on travel.  I finally could no longer ignore that voice, and I joined the Dream Vacations team as the owner of All Travel Advantage, based in Beaumont, Texas, serving clients throughout the Golden Triangle, the rest of Texas, beyond to the entire United States, and indeed the World.

In addition to my personal travel experience, much of my expertise stems from education: I studied International Relations at Florida State University, and Russian Language at the Defense Language Institute.  I am a Certified Travel Associate, a member of Cruise Lines International Association, and the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce.  I have earned my Masters of Adventure from Royal Caribbean University, as well as having reached the highest tier certification available for Virgin Voyages. I am a Pleasant [Holidays] Pro Academy Certified Travel Advisor, a Rail Europe Rail Expert, a Discover Central Europe Specialist, and a Peru Agent.  I continually increase my knowledge through supplier and professional organizations training.
